Chandra Bahadur Dangi

Bahadur Dangi was the shortest adult human ever in recorded history
of world after measuring hid height up to 54.6cms (1 foot 9.6inches) in
February 2012. He was born on 30th November 1939 in Nepal
and he was a case of primordial dwarf which is a form of dwarfism
that results in a smaller body size in all stages of life beginning
from before birth. After being awarded the title of the world's
shortest man in 2012 by the Guinness World Records, he said he had
always wished to travel to all parts of his country and the world. He
stated that being the shortest man in the world and a citizen of
Nepal, he wanted to use his status to popularize his country.
In
2012, at the age of 72, Dangi met teh world's shortest woman, Jyoti
Amge of Nagpur, India at the 57th edition of the Guinness
Book of Record in 2013. On 13th November 2014, Dangi met
the world's tallest living man, Sultan Kosen at an event in London.
Chandra died in American Samoa on 3rd September 2015 at
the age of 75 as he had been suffering from pneumonia.
Junrey Balawing
Junrey
Balawing is a Filipino and the Guinness World Record holder for the
world's shortest living man measuring his height up to 60cms
(23.62inches). He was born on 12th June 1993 in
Philippines. He is the son of a poor blacksmith and he had stopped
growing at the age of one. Although, he was documented as the
shortest living man before Chandra Bahadur Dangi had, but he started
holding the title again until today, after the death of Chandra
Bahadur Dangi on 3rd September 2016.
